Synthwave really does go well videos of Soviet-era Russians being sent to put down dune coon chimpouts.
Solid new album by Lazerhawk, the version I download will exclude the collaboration song with lyrics but other than that he's back!
Whoever creates these fake GTA radio stations is a great man.
2016 was such a great year for me, Trump winning the election and SYNTHWAVE.
Trumpwave and Fashwave Are Just the Latest Disturbing Examples of the Far-Right Appropriating Electronic Music
It's funny. I actually think right-wing meme pages on social media etc swayed a lot of young voters to Trump. Conservatives actually display a far better understanding of culture and values than lefties, imo. The left is now really fragmenting itself with identity politics, LGBT+feminism can't really coexist. Not to mention the left wing is usually revolutionary, whereas a Hillary vote was *clearly* a vote for 4 more years of the same or worse, which IMO alienated some of the left.
"We memed ourself a president" is partially true imo. This time the right wing was revolutionary, and it had momentum on it's side.
Synthwave with vocals - Y/N?
It's a no from me, they're always effeminate like really gay electronic music. Apart from Nightcall.
99% of the time no. Songs with vocals are usually just covering up boring generic instrumental parts in the background. The new Lazerhawk album is a perfect example, weakest song on the album is the one he did with Gunship that has vocals.

Gunship is exactly what I'm talking about.
I like the chilled synth on this one and the title. Powder Slut.
Solid 47 track compilation here. I know it's been rough finding new artists this is a good way to get exposed to some
