I have one of those. The UTG model, but the same bag. It's the best bag for commuting in Tokyo, holds everything right near the hip. It's really like having a whole extra set of pockets. It's really amazing how much shit you can pack in that thing with a bit of creativity. It easily holds glasses, sunglasses, tablet, phone, cords, ID, wallet, water bottle, medicines, masks, flashlight, etc.

Don't matter. And it's not like I'm going to use it to carry a pistol in CA since our commie sheriff won't issue CCWs either. I guess if I took it back with me to the US and SHTF I could carry a pistol in there in case of civil unrest.
A few years ago I was home and there was a huge power outage across SoCal and I carried around the neighborhood...not like the cops were up in the most whitebread neighborhood in the city.

Appendix carry just like most of the time otherwise, in the winter when I'm doing demolition I use the watch pocket on jeans.

I missed out on a great deal the other day, RCBS reloading press with tons of extras for $75 at an estate sale.

Not sure if exactly everything pictured was there since it was just some guy's workshop so things weren't perfectly organized, but they would have let you grab all the applicable accessories with it that you could find. I was only carrying $60 and it was day 1 of the sale so there's no haggling or holding items, went back yesterday and it was gone! I definitely need to carry more cash in the summer.

That's a sick deal. Fuck, I wish I would have known, I would have picked that up in a heartbeat. Been wanting to get into reloading all my old .30-30 and .303 brass I've kept around for some reason.

Does anyone here actually use Gunbroker? Just went on there and it's such a joke. Very low inventory on all the specialty things that used to pop up, prices are hilariously inflated, search functions are a nightmare.

"Hey let's put all our gun stuff on an auction site and make the secret reserve price higher than MSRP :^)"

I've seen that message so many times, sellers don't even get bidding wars going on anymore because they all have reserves set so high that nobody even bothers.

    FUDDS

It's the exact same thing at the gun shows around here. Fudds and boomers(and boomer fudds) trying to sell stuff at 400% of what they're worth. Now no one even goes

My shopping list was pretty big for the last gun show I went to. It's nice to inspect things in person before buying so I was ready for a bit of markup and haggling but it is a gun show and not a retail store, so c'mon.

    What I wanted:

    1 or 2 rifle slings
    a bunch of PMags
    10/22 mags
    extended Glock mags
    500rds~ of 223
    500rds~ of 9mm

The only things I ended up buying were two PMags and a 50rd box of 223. I could have probably gone to the local sporting goods store and everything would have been the same. The place was super crowded and you had to pay for parking and admission so I'm sure a lot of them were serious buyers and not just random normos wandering around. I noticed almost nobody was carrying a bag of purchased items and only a few guys were carrying around a long gun they had for sale.

I almost overdosed on paracord just from witnessing it all, yeah sorry I don't need a $14 bracelet made of 550 paracord that I'm supposed to use to build a teepee for when SHTF.

The biggest farce of the last one I went to were the 600 dollar 91/30s and the 800 dollar sks's they had scattered around. All sold by soft bodied mustached boomers that I can only imagine enjoyed reading or writing or ghost writing scifi novels

Anything "from wartime" commands ultra premiums now. Beat up canvas canteen holder from Vietnam? Oh that's gotta go for at least $40! Yep the outrageous SKS's were everywhere, I think I saw a beat to hell one otherwise unmolested for $600. 91/30's were going for random prices always over $300 though.

Pretty soon you will be able to "ghost read" sci fi novels by paying others to give you synopses so you can appear well-read at Dragon-con.

Thinking about an OWB retention holster for the Glock, possibly going back to good old Safariland

ALS holsters are the best high retention that I know of without severely hindering your draw.
