It pays to have one in the event you need super deep concealment, a spare carry gun just in case, or to give yourself no excuse to not carry. I know from experience that they're easier to carry over something larger when out doing physical stuff, as I carried my LCP from the start of Hurricane Harvey to when we finally handed things off to contractors

I sold my M&P9c to a friend and bought a M&P9 Shield in black and flat dark earth. One Fury OWB/IWB convertable (and comfy) holster, spare mag carrier, four spare mags, and the gun itself rang out to $500. The gun itself was $320 after rebate and s'port are trups discount. Nominally 385 OTD.

It stays in easy reach in my truck, and often is my carry piece in general when making a run somewhere or in summer time. Get in the truck, go, put the gun out, do biznis.

I would definitely check around Father's day when they go on rebate offers.

I have put roughly 2500rds through it doing drills since I got it and I must say I love that gun.

I agree. My .45 shield stays in my work backpack that goes everywhere with me so I can throw it on in a second for something quick. I often use it for quick runs and have put a similar round count through it. I haven't shot a similar sized gun that I liked more at that price point.

If I wasn't a price cuck when it comes to ammo, I would have gone with the .45 instead of having to carry a spare mag all over the place because 8rds of 9mm leaves a bit to be desired.

Shield 2.0's regularly selling for $319~ now, that seems to be the new price floor http://palmettostatearmory.com/s-w-m-p-shield-m2-0-9mm-manual-thumb-safety-11806.html The laser one sells for $329 sometimes.

I wonder what the future of the Micro 9 scene will be. Will S&W release a barebones Shield to compete with the Ruger EC9S? Can't say for sure but it feels like they didn't sell their remaining old Shields on purpose because they didn't want a bunch of them floating around on sale like what happened with the LCP, which subsequently took the 380's market from the $300 range to sub $200.

We're teetering on the verge of these polymer striker 9's selling for $200-250 for standard models, it's just a matter of who will do it first. Both S&W and Ruger and riding on old designs for some years now and these things do not cost much to make. Kahr is being more aggressive about sales, the baby Berettas are constantly discounted ... Glock isn't budging but that's probably why the G43 didn't arrive with quite the fanfare everyone expected.

Remember M&P Performance Center is still a thing, they could do it to the 2.0's and still offer a tricked out lineup if they want.

The dream scenario is they just tank the prices on normal M&P's to establish market dominance and offer Performance Center options for the most popular models.

Currently carrying a Springfield milspec at 3 o clock OWB and a shield appendix because belt is too loose to hold pants up without an IWB

Because some random commentator on the internet with an opinion is credible...

Canik beat Glock in its own reliability test. Just sayin. Buy what you want. If you don't want a quality Turkroach gun for whatever your reason don't buy one. If you like the gun because it feels nice and shoots nice and functions nice and you like the price, go for it. Don't be a faggot and let some joe blow talk you out of one because they have a personal moral conflict on a damn good firearm. In other words, fuck your feelings, they are good guns. If they like how it feels functions and shoots, there is no good reason for someone not to buy one if they like it and can afford it.

Finally and most importantly, I made the same exact point about comm block guns if it was the late 80's. You literally said "but those are made by white people" Canik, a shitskin muzzie gun, beat Glock in its own testing. Just admit it, you have a personal bias because its made by people who aren't white. I guess you should stop drinking quality affordable rum from Belieze because its made by brown people. Who gives a shit, if its a good product its a good product regardless who makes it. You've been exposed, your reasons for not liking Canik firearms are fucking stupid and that's your personal opinion. Moving on.

Why buy the knockoff when the genuine article is the same price, almost to the dollar, and will still be around in 20 years to honor your warranty, where these weirdo foreign companies tend to go up in a puff of smoke, like Llama, Star, FEG, BUL, Daewoo, Vektor, etc have?

"Funding terror"... The "War on Terror" is a concept. You can't be at war with a concept because its a fight that never ends and gives a blank check to the military industrial complex so long as we are at war with "concepts". That's about as retarded as the "War on Drugs"... Which was so effective... (it wasn't... it was expensive). But now you are back at being against it because it's a declared enemy of your home nation. Russian communism was an enemy of the country. But comm block guns are good and made well. Just admit that if the shitskins weren't muzzie terrorist sympathizers you would be singing a different tune about Caniks. But you won't because you are too proud.

Yeah if an apple was an orange it would be an apple. Horrible full retard argument. "Funding terror" jokes aside, you're doing the same fucking thing with buying shitskin guns that neocons do with the Mexican cheap labor. You can't criticize immigration while hiring sub minimal illegal slaves just like you can't bitch about Muslims while buying their product.

Don't be a faggot, buy American. If you can't buy American at least buy it from white people.
