Is this the right feel?
This is more like it.
Genre shift, but the intended audience is indisputable.
Peter Gabriel - Up (2002 - Full Album)
Before I click that link, how pretentious is it?
I remember when I took a long ass break from the Hall and when I came back you posted the following video with "The glorious hipster rock must be spread!"
It's now the theme song for the TV show Two Broke Girls. I wish they made for music like this but I think the time has passed.
Ah that brings back memories, back when I was in college and listening to what other people I knew were listening to
Phil Collins split his wig in a hotel room fall. Had to postpone some shows but is expected to recover soon.
He probably shouldn't be touring, way too many health problems ... he can't play drums or stand through a show. Crazy that he's even doing it. I think it's all about his son who is a teenager now and a good drummer, backing him up, he's just doing a final tour so the two of them can play together. Phil can still sing well enough to pull off a concert considering his health issues .... he's definitely lost his high energy but is still in tune better than anything on Billboard Top 100 can do without computer assistance.
How many of you are still into music? Maybe it's being on the wrong side of 30, maybe it's the rise of nationalism, but it seems to unimportant. It is right up there with sports and longform HBO tv shows as time sinks.
Lol in part the point of this thread on the old forum, and here, is to note precisely that there is no more music being made for psychologically normal/healthy white people.
