Farting is a direct result of gasses produced by intestinal bacteria digesting things that are not necessarily digestible, breaking them down into something you can absorb. It's also a sign they are breaking up toxins and estrogen mimickers.
So basically not farting makes you a bitch.

I'm ready to start hardening my lifestyle against BPA and other xenoestrogens. Has anyone made a compilation post yet? What is a good water filtration setup for the home? Et cetera et cetera my niggas. I don't have the spiritual mana left between work and family to research this shit and I'm back on the road Monday. We're living off of bottled water right now, it makes me feel guilty.
Here's a few to start:
Use an under-sink reverse osmosis filter, there are a handful of common ones on the market. RO filters are by far the most economical way of getting extremely pure water into your home.
Many "BPA free" plastic products just use BPS which is equally terrible, it's dishonest marketing. Try to switch to glass & stainless steel as much as possible, especially for drinking containers and any bowls/plates/glasses that will be exposed to heat. "Summer flatware" is usually bottom of the barrel chinese plastic with weird paints applied, these have been linked to very bad materials many times.
As for avoiding xenoestrogenic foods and drinks, we know soy is the biggie but ingesting high amounts of sugar and/or vegetable oils reduces your body's filtering capabilities. This stuff is very difficult to avoid especially if you have a family, good luck!

A note on buying packs of disposable water bottles: As far as I know ALL of them contain bisphenols because of their packaging. Plastic that is thin leeches more, plastic that is malleable leeches more, plastic that is clear leeches more. Water bottles are all three. I know they may say "BPA free" but it's just BPS or another isotope. The massive push to get our nation drinking out of these things should be all the indication you need that there is something grossly wrong with the format.

The easiest fix is to use butter instead of vegetable oils and take an Omega 3 supplement, these things are very easy to do and largely mitigate the problem.
Will any under sink cartridge filters get the job done? I already have a tap with cartridge filters installed.
You have to see what kind of filters they are. The under sink Reverse Osmosis ones are great. If they are just activated carbon you have to look it up and see if it filters out all the birth control pee in the water.
