They really are going after every part of the white hetero male American experience, every single part. At least the kids at the Jamboree aren't dumb enough to buy it, and the media's reaction to Trump's speech, and the BSA's bugman disavowing the President shows how much even the archetypal male organization has fallen.

A college classmate of mine who is a Troop leader claims to be a Republican. He never posts about politics on Facebook but went off on a huge anti-Trump rant about the President's speech at the jamboree. It was disappointing to read but I am glad that DJT is reaching the masses over the objections of the elites. We're looking at a long-term red pill in its gestation period.

On the other hand, here in Georgia I have a friend who is a troop leader, is ex army (Captain) and loved the Trump speech at the Jamboree. He said that that's why boys join the scouts. His is a church troop and the troop doesn't care if the boys are gay or whatever as long as the adhere to the rules and oaths. regarding girls troops he doesn't see a problem provided the boys troop and girls troop are kept separate. In his opinion the reason for allowing girls is that the only thing Girl Scouts do now is sell cookies. No badges, no camping and no trips. Most of the girls have brothers in the scouts anyway and usually go on the camping trips as well so this is just formalising this situation. He absoultley refused to allow his daughter to join the girl scouts but she was at every boy scout event.

The reason why redpilling is inevitable is because it is the truth. The truth will always have its way eventually.

The pol threads on this had a few former scouts in there and they talked about how troops didn't have good dads to help run them, or they'd end up being managed by one of the single moms who tried to pick up the slack but they had no idea how to run the outdoors/workshop stuff so it would become cookie sales and arts+crafts until the boys got bored and the whole thing disbanded. That's why the girl scouts don't do anything to an even greater extent, no male scout leaders.

It's a catch 22 because good guys are more likely to mentor their kids personally instead of group stuff nowadays because they don't want to support formalized poz, but without them these organizations fall apart much quicker. The scouts going downhill isn't a surprising phenomenon or anything, it's just yet another symptom of our communities falling apart in general. When the street you live on has a bunch of kids on it and a bunch of them join up you'd feel much more compelled to be a scout leader.

I have no problem with them adopting the international model of the Scouting Movement. They just need to promote it as such; an alignment with the rest of the scouting world.

Scouting is meant to be for boys. Read the damn original manuals - Dan Beard was an excellent outdoors writer and Baden Powell was an odd dude but an imperial supremacist. The movement is meant to be boys doing stuff, with occasional guidance. It's not about adults leading things.

It's also important to consider how easy it is for any kid (let's face it, girl) to accuse any guy of inappropriate behaviour and there will never be any male mentors near scouts.

I know this. I know all about the origins of the movement, and I've read the original manual plenty of times. And it does piss me off how low it's sunk...you're all correct: pozzed and women leadership combined with bugmen did this.

The BSA could have "sold" this "rebranding" better, that's my point. Kind of like Kentucky Fried Chicken becoming "KFC" because "Kentucky" had too much South and "Fried Chicken" didn't sound healthy.

Kentucky Fried is back! I saw the worlds spelled out loud and proud on a brand new KFC recently.

St Vincent's is a great organization, way better than Salvation Army for anyone who wants to donate items. I took a bunch of stuff there when I moved and browsed the shelves, got a $70 radio for $5, zing.

His middle aged mom is a normie but somehow knows about bitcoins. He is astonished how mainstream shit that only nerds knew about in 2012 is becoming. I have similar feels about my mom being on her iphone all day (course very normie tier with getting her news from newspaper "apps" and shit but still).

Awareness of bitcoin is surprisingly mainstream, I think normies think it's some kind of get rich quick investment so they buy from ATMs whenever it's in the news hitting all time highs and get cucked by the exorbitant fees, then panic sell when the price pulls back a little.
