Yes, I think most of us who physically cannot 'eat' very much are aware of this method.

I did start on it last week, FYI.

Anyway, I am in the ring, weighing in at 176 lbs. Not as low as some, but room for improvement for a man over 6 feet tall.

So hard for me to understand. I swear, when I was in my 2012 doombulker phase I could eat a slowcooker full of 6000 calories of Motivation chili in one sitting. I LOVED it. Had to stop when I went from 220-250 after I blinked.

Do you drain your beef? 70/30 undrained chili would be like drinking grease.

I am currently fasting Mon, Tues, Weds each week (which includes the nights on either end of each fasting day, so its more than just 72 hours). I generally run on the fasted days.

Losing weight very slowly. It's just so easy to take in 5,000+ plus calories on eating days.

I second the rice/butter combo. Even if you didn't add ground beef, cheese, eggs, etc. it is insanely easy to eat a massive amount of calories with just rice and butter.

I've never understood the appeal of greasy soups/stews (for taste, for calories obviously leave it in). If we are talking about taste, then high fat ground beef is good for burgers.

Nah if you leave it in the slow cooker for a while with tomato paste, canned tomatoes, and seasoning it tastes fine.

I really like Red Pozole, which is basically spicy pork-grease soup:

Cheesy rice with butter makes it 10x easier to eat every day. Once there is a bunch of melted cheese any chicken/beef you have can go in with it no problem.

Drinking calories is a thing yeah but you can't depend on pop. The entire deal with ectomorphs is that carbs don't stick to us like glue like everyone else. Chances are your average thin guy is drinking pop everyday like everyone else to begin with. GOMAD can sometimes work though and I'm guessing it's because the macro blend is better. If you aren't a big milk drinker at least use up a stick of butter a day on your food - it's only 800 calories but it's great energy and works on any meal you can think of. Once your stick is gone you reload the butter dish before bed and leave it out and have a soft stick ready to go the next day.

Chili is ultimate bulk mode for sure, if you use 80/20 you won't have to drain it but still getting lots of good fat content. It's also a good way to use tons of sour cream and cheese up. Having a bunch of chili in pyrex containers is one of my standard work meal setups.

The seven day split is too much. I can do it but most people burn out. Make enough food for 3-4 days at a time tops. Your ideal setup is to always have good meals ready to go for consumption at any given point, but not a bunch of leftovers in the fridge you are dreading to finish because you're sick of it. If you are ever hitting the point of "having no food in the house" or thinking faggot/woman stuff like "where should I go out to eat tonight" you aren't eating enough!

Chili is my standard crock pot fair when bulking or cutting. Easy to modify, just add or subtract the beans. I guess what Winbot says makes sense, carbs don't stick to ectomorphs just like dietary fat doesn't stick to me. One thing you can do if the chili starts to get boring is to make a thick ragu instead. Basically just like an Italian chili. I use 3lbs beef 1lb sweet Italian sausage per batch and it comes out quite good.

Dude I would eat 5 pounds of chili every day if I could somehow wave a magic wand so it wouldn't turn me into Kyriakos Grizzly. I don't know how anyone could get tired of it.

Getting tired of certain foods is a prime example of why I don't typically meal prep. Maybe it's just degenerate weakness but I would 100% snap if I had to eat chicken every day

I don't get tired of anything I like. Too bad most of the foods I like make you fat.

Same, bro. I would eat pasta, huge burritos, hamburgers, pizza, and all kinds of carbs every day if I could. Eating carbs is really the only way I feel full and satiated.

How can something that allows you to summon up farts of righteous indignation be considered an abomination? If everyone ate chili with beans for a week straight, the Jews would be gone the following Monday.
