    Might as well keep one of these things if I'm gonna hang around here for a while again.

    Quick rundown: Back to training again at the beginning of August after a long, long while of nothing/wheel spinning. Currently 216 lbs, down from about 225 while gaining a good chunk of strength back. Current goal is continue leaning down while milking whatever strength gains I can until I am satisfied with my leanness.

    Why are you losing weight?

    Pull-ups every workout is too much. Once a week is almost too much for me and I only do two work sets.

    Blue cheese is for pedophiles.

    I'm losing weight because A) wedding next year, and B) when I started lifting again in August I still weighed north of 225 but significantly weaker. I have already lost ~14 lbs and am just *barely* seeing signs of abs. I would probably be a really lean ~195, which means I had no reason to be carrying that extra 30+ lbs of fat.

    As for the pull-ups, I modulate the volume so that it's not too much. Bench/Press days I do 5 weighted sets, and Squat/Dead days I only do 2 bodyweight sets. Seems to be working well.
